This year the program has decided to go with a new uniform style.  All prices include the new uniform cost for the program.  Uniform fittings will happen on the same day as the Assessment Day for the program.  This assessment will happen on Sunday, September 12.  Specific times for each grade will be announced at a later date.

Cost for grades 3-8:   $300

There will not be a volunteer fee this year, however, Milton Youth Basketball can not work without the help of volunteers.  We will be holding tournaments for teams in Grades 3-8 toward the end of the season and we may also be asked to host games for our league play.  We will be asking teams and parents for help to aid us in the selling of concessions and collecting admission at the door.  We ask that parents consider volunteering as much as possible to help us put on a quality program.

League Play

PreK-2nd Grade will be playing in our in-house league those practices/game play will be on Saturday morning/early afternoons.

All teams in 3rd-8th grade will be playing in the Badger Development League.   League play in the Badger moves to different schools around the region each weekend (Nov.-Feb).   Typically Badger league play includes 2-3 games all on one day for the weekend.

3rd - 8th-grade teams may also be playing in tournaments throughout the season and typically have several practices after school or early evening each week.  7th and 8th grade teams may have the opportunity to play a few extra tournaments

Team Selection

PreK-2nd Grade- Teams will be formed through a random selection process.

3rd - 8th Grade- All players will go through a skills assessment which will facilitate team selections.  The Badger League has both a Recreational and Competitive leagues for several age levels.   Your player will be placed based on talent, composition of team, and player potential.  The goal of the MYB is to facilitate 100% participation for all players who wish to play and every effort will be made to place them on a team that fits their ability.

Mandatory skills assessment for grades 3-8 will be held Sunday, September 12.  Assessments will be used to form teams.  All assessments will be held in Gym #2 at Milton High School.  More information will be sent via e-mail so you know when your grade will be assessing.  Grades PreK-2 will not have an assessment and will be randomly placed.

Parents will be contacted by the coach via email or phone when the team is formed.  The coach should be in touch with you by the middle of October at the latest.   If parents do NOT hear from a coach by the middle of October please contact the appropriate MYB rep.

Milton Youth Basketball is looking for volunteer coaches for the 2021-22 season.   If you are over 18 and are good with kids and have a knowledge of basketball fundamentals please consider volunteering your time this season to be a head or assistant coach.

Coaches are needed from PreK to 8th grade.  PreK to 2nd Grade In House programs typically involves a Saturday only commitment.  3rd to 8th-grade teams typically practice 2 nights per week and have games on Saturday or Sundays.  If you're new to coaching MYB can provide a mentor to help you learn how to run practices and coach games.  Coaching can be a rewarding and fun experience and our program depends on volunteers to make it run.  Please consider helping coach a team this year.

If you're interested in volunteering this year please complete this form: (Past coaches please complete the form as well, if your interested in coaching).
